The tragedy in Angel Locsin’s birthday community pantry got the attention of DDS influencers as they start to criticize the Kapamilya actress again.
During Angel’s community pantry, a 67-year-old man fainted while waiting in line. He was then later pronounced dead at the hospital. Although it was an unfortunate event, Duterte’s supporters attacked Locsin for the death of a poor man.

Meanwhile, DDS influencer Mark Lopez took to twitter to criticize the alleged handing out of money by the actress to a GMA Network “reporter.”

In another tweet, Lopez looked for an answer if Locsin had some debt to GMA Network.

But in his facebook post, Lopez pointed out that Angel’s money-handling act is a plan to envelop the media or “developmental journalism”.
What Lopez is referring to is when a reporter gets to write a story requested by a “client” in exchange for monetary compensation.

Another certified DDS scrutinized Angel as she’s seen giving money to an alleged Kapuso media staff.
The influencer even associated the actress with ‘dilawans’ and the leftists.
Style bulok ng mga dilawan at makakaliwa, sila pala ang may sayad ang utak at baliko ang values. 🧐🤔😂 https://t.co/nEUEtWTlAY

One DDS influencer tweeted that the media patronizes celebrities because of handouts.

Jamie Alonzo, a supporter of the Duterte Administration, said that the actress blames the government’s incompetence on the tragedy that struck her community pantry.

However, their accusations were wrong.
Neil Arce, Locsin’s fiancé clarified that the individual that the actress gave money to was her make-up artist during her stay as a Kapuso.
Neil was appalled by how the DDS get their baseless information.
People are claiming inabutan daw ni Angel yung reporter. Make up artist Po niya yun sa GMA. Where do these people get their newS?!?!

To prove that it was Angel’s make-up artist back in GMA Network–the TV station released a statement that the man is not with GMA News and Public Affairs coverage team. It was a make-up artist who worked for Angel back when she was still a Kapuso.

Angel has helped those in need without being covered by the media. She has steered away from the limelight.
The community pantry in Quezon City is Angel’s way of celebrating her 36th birthday. The actress is very active in helping Filipinos ever since. She got inspired by the spirit of the community pantry; she then organized a food bank.
To those criticizing the community pantries, Pasic City Mayor Vico Sotto defended the organizers who are just wanting to help.
As critics of the pantries condemned such initiative, Sotto stressed that a “permit to help” is non-existent.
Community Pantries have sprung up in Pasig. We commend the individuals who are helping as they can afford. Government has limited resources, so any effort to help others is very welcome.
