GMA Network allegedly prepared a contract for former Kapamilya actress Bea Alonzo.
Alonzo, who spent two decades of her career in the entertainment industry under ABS-CBN’s Star Magic, decided to leave the talent management firm in November 2020.
Alonzo’s new talent manager now is Shirley Kuan.
According to an article from PEP, speculations circulating that Bea has an offer from GMA Network, now that the 33-year-old actress is a freelancer.
Apart from Maja Salvador (who did not proceed with the transfer), rumors of Alonzo signing with the Kapuso Network came out.
A contract with a corresponding amount has been drafted, according to a PEP source.
However, an executive from GMA Network claimed that no official information when asked regarding the matter.
What is certain is that Alonzo is currently working with Kapuso actor Alden Richards for the film ‘A Moment to Remember,’ a Philippine adaptation of the 2001 Japanese drama Pure Soul. The film is under the three major movie outfits: Viva Films, GMA Pictures, and APT Entertainment.
The New Generation’s Movie Queen also confirmed her much-anticipated film reunion with her longtime onscreen partner John Lloyd Cruz after her film with Richards.
In an interview with Ethel Booba on March 11, Alonzo got excited when she announced that she had already read the script for their upcoming film.
Alonzo and Cruz will reunite in Cathy Garcia-Molina’s film No Goodbyes under Star Cinema, set to be released this year.
