Actress Angelica Panganiban stands by her decision to leave teleseryes behind as she wants to give more time for herself after 30 years of doing in teleseryes.

In the media conference for the final week of Walang Hanggang Paalam, Panganiban said that she wants to allot more time for herself, noting that she has been working in teleseryes for almost 30 years.

Then, she clarified that she didn’t announce her retirement from teleseryes to create buzz for Walang Hanggang Paalam, adding that she considered her decision several times.

Panganiban also pointed out that she continued with the teleserye because she wanted to have work when the pandemic hit.

However, Panganiban stands by her decision that Walang Hanggang Paalam will be her last teleserye. She said that she had put in a lot of work for the series, and she has nothing left to prove.

“Kasi yung pagod na pwede ko pa i-trabaho 50 years from now, naibigay ko na sa show na to.

However, she has not closed her doors to the possibility of working on a teleserye, pointing out that would only happen if she receives an offer for a role she cannot resist.

Finally, Panganiban intends to keep on working with movies as she has confirmed that she has multiple movie projects lined up for her career after the pandemic.

As for her teleserye, Walang Hanggang Paalam aims to deliver a gripping conclusion for Emman (Paulo Avelino), Celine (Angelica Panganiban), Anton (Zanjoe Marudo), and Amelia (Cherry Pie Picache) character arcs. Catch the “Against All Odds” finale of the teleserye on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, TV5, Kapamilya Online Live YouTube channel, ABS-CBN Entertainment Facebook page, and iWantTFC. For viewers outside of the Philippines, catch it on The Filipino Channel on cable and IPTV.
