Lead stars Andrea Brillantes and Seth Fedelin shared their thoughts on the SethDrea loveteam with ABS-CBN Entertainment’s new teleserye Huwag Kang Mangamba.
In the media conference event for the upcoming inspirational teleserye, Andrea said they grew more comfortable with each other since their love team started in 2019.
“Siguro po para maramdaman din nila kung gaano na kalalim, nasa point na po na nagkakainisan na kami sa isa’t isa, ganon na kami ka komportable sa isa’t isa,” said Andrea.
Andrea then recounted how they used to tease each other on set, after almost two years of working together, they grew to care for each other.
“Dati nag-aasaran lang kami, magkatrabaho lang kami. Pero ngayon iba na ‘yung care namin sa isa’t isa,” said Andrea.
She added that they now share the struggles they face from their personal lives.
“Ang topic lang namin noon, ‘yung mata niya, pero ngayon pati mga pinagdadaanan namin sa life nasha-share na namin sa isa’t isa,” Andrea added.
As for Seth, he echoed Andrea’s earlier statement, adding that they also give each other advice.
“Kapag may personal na problema, personal, family ganyan nandyan ako nandyan siya para pagsabihan namin yung isa’t isa. Hingi kami ng advice kung ano mga dapat namin gawin,” said Seth.
Seth also added that they grew closer as they share personal and familial concerns.
“Kasi sinasabi ko sa kanya ‘yung mga problema namin dito sa bahay, minsan problema sa sarili ko, sinasabi rin niya sa akin ‘yun mga problema niya sa sarili nya. ‘Yung ganon po. Ganon na kalapit ‘yung loob namin sa isa’t isa,” said Seth.
SethDrea also added that nothing changed between them since their love team started back in 2019, adding that they often keep in touch with each other through video calls during the quarantines.
“Sa akin po, wala. Ganon, pa rin naman po siya. Wala po siyang bagong pinakita at wala naman po siyang pinagbago,” said Seth.
“Nakakavideo call ko siya ‘nung early quarantine. So nakikita ko na rin kung paano siya sa bahay,” Andrea added.
The SethDrea loveteam started during Andrea and Seth’s stint on the afternoon hit teleserye, Kadenang Ginto.
Andrea and Seth, alongside Gold Squad Members Francine Diaz and Kyle Echarri, top-bills the inspirational teleserye, Huwag Kang Mangamba. The teleserye also has a powerhouse cast including Sylvia Sanchez, Nonie Buencamino, Mylene Dizon, RK Bagatsing, Dominic Ochoa, Diether Ocampo, Enchong Dee, Angeline Quinto, Matet De Leon, Soliman Cruz, Mercedes Cabral, Paolo Gumabao, and Alyanna Angeles.
