The first episode of the highly-anticipated comeback of I Can See You will premiere this March 22.

Its pilot mini-series titled On My Way to You! will top bill Shaira Diaz and Kapuso actor-hunk Ruru Madrid.

The story will revolve around a viral runaway bride named Raki (Shaira) who flees from the city to elude from the flak she’s receiving online. From there, she will meet the character or Ruru, Jerrick, who is a groom who was ditched by his bride-to-be on the day of the wedding.

Even though the episodes were not yet aired, Shaira already expressed her gratitude for this stint under GMA Network.

She said on Instagram, “This is it! I’m so happy and proud to be part of this project! From cast to production and crew, ang ganda at gagaling!

“Napaka ganda ng istorya, execution, cinematography, shots and lines! Binabasa ko pa lang ‘yung script, sumasakit at kinikilig na ‘yung puso ko.”

She expressed her appreciation for their production team for doing a good job despite the struggles brought by the existing health protocols.

“Ang galing ng creatives and writers ng ‘On My Way To You’ at syempre ang aming director. Kaya pala natin!

“Kaya sobrang excited ako na mapanood ninyo ang panibagong offering na ‘to ng GMA Netwok. Nakaka-proud! Promise! Sa March 22 na po, ‘I Can See You Season 2: On My Way to You’,” she added.

On the said post, veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez commended Shaira for her project, saying that she deserved it because of her talent.

“Congrats ‘nak. Deserve mo ‘yan kasi magaling ka.” Sylvia wrote.

Coincidentally, Sylvia has an upcoming series under ABS-CBN titled, Huwag Kang Mangamba that is also expected to air on March 22.

Sylvia and Shaira previously worked together in the 2020 Metro Manila Film Festival entry, Coming Home, where Sylvia played the mother of Shaira’s character.
