In a press conference, actress Sophie Albert reacted to blind items published about her pregnancy.
Sophie said she and her hubby, Vin Abrenica thought no one would care if she was pregnant.
“Actually, ‘yung blind item nga pareho kami ni Vin na nagulat kasi honestly, we didn’t think anyone would care. Kaya parang bakit tayo naba-blind item sino ba tayo para ma-blind item jan,” said Sophie.
Then she clarified that they were looking for the right time to announce her pregnancy.
“So parang at first we really didn’t think it will happen, pero I think, a little bit after that, dun na rin namin in-announce na we were ano, but hindi naman dahil we were planning to keep it forever, we were looking for the right time to tell people,” said Sophie.
Sophie also added that her family considered their new baby a welcome surprise.
“My Mom was actually (really) happy she was so excited to have a new apo and a new member (in the family). So it was really a welcome surprise for everybody,” said Sophie.
As for Vin’s family, Sophie said they felt excited to have a baby girl in the family.
“Sa side naman ni Vin they were also really excited, especially when they found out that they (were) going to have a girl member in the family. Everybody’s happy, and everyone’s excited,” said Sophie.
Sophie and Vin revealed expecting a baby girl via a gender reveal vlog. Earlier, they announced their engagement in December of 2020 through social media.
The 30-year old actress moved to the Kapuso network at the age of 27 and starred in GMA Network’s recently concluded teleserye, The Gift.
