Sarah Geronimo answered the question: Is her Tala: The Film Concert a sign of her return to performing on stage?
Her answer was, she never left.
In our exclusive interview, Geronimo said that she never left performing. She also added that she is taking her time to give quality performances.
“Hindi naman po ako umalis sa pagpe-perform. Masasabi ko lang po na, I want to be able to give quality performances. Kaya, I’m taking my time,” said Geronimo.
She added that she doesn’t want to be a stagnant artist. But Geronimo acknowledged that her fans are waiting for her return.
“Ayaw ko po na maging stagnant ako as an artist. I want to know for myself kung ano pa ang kaya kong gawin. Kung meron pa ba kong kayang ma-ibigay na bago. So hindi ko po siya minamadali. Of course ‘di naman ako forever hihintayin ng panahon, ng mga tao,” said Geronimo.
Finally, she reiterated that she didn’t leave performing on stage. However, she acknowledged that performers go through lows and adds that she found inspiration to the giver of her talent and the people who give her opportunities as an artist.
“Ang bottomline lang, hindi po ako umalis sa pagpe-perform. At ang passion ko may mga panahon mang parang nada-down ka. Kasi lahat naman po tayo dadating sa ganong pagkakataon. But, I always find the inspiration to the giver of my talent at sa mga taong patuloy na nagbibigay ng opurtunidad po sa akin,” said Geronimo.
Fans of the Pop Star Royalty missed her powerhouse performances after her hiatus from ABS-CBN’s ASAP Natin To stage, including Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez.
Now, Geronimo returns for her “Tala: The Film Concert” to premiere exclusively on KTX.PH, iWantTFC, and TFC IPTV this March 27, 2021 at 8pm.
