Speculations on reconciliation between Sarah Geronimo and her mother, Mommy Divine have circulated, a year after the Popstar Princess’s controversial wedding to Matteo Guidicelli.
Sarah, 31, and Matteo, 29, held a civil wedding that privately took place at Shangri-La at the Fort in Bonifacio Global City late evening of Thursday, February 20, 2020.
The ceremony was supposed to be solemn and intimate but it turned dramatic when Sarah’s mother, who seemingly didn’t know about the wedding, unexpectedly turned up and made a commotion.
In Sarah’s recent Instagram post, she promoted the farm products that her mother was selling, made the Netizens think that the mother and daughter are already on their way to having a reconciliation.
The singer posted her mother’s organic fruits and vegetables on her Instagram story saying, “Freshly harvested organic fruits and vegetables from my Mama’s farm. Order now.”
However, as of this writing, Geronimo still hasn’t released any official statement regarding her relationship with her mother.
He believes that in God’s time the conflict between him and Mommy Divine will come to an end and that things will heal and be better in the coming days.
“In God’s time, [we are] positive, things will heal. Things will be better,” he said.
“You know, having drinks together, pasta together. I think that’s our family’s dream. So ‘yun. One day, it will happen.”
Netizens have also expressed their words of encouragement for the reconciliation of Sarah and her mom.
They noted that time heals everything and that at the end of the day, the two are still family.
