Acting as a supporting role, Kapuso Actor Paul Salas shared how his character ‘Frank Vergara’ in GTV’s The Lost Recipe changed his acting career during this COVID-19 pandemic.
One of the things that Paul Salas is thankful for his character in The Lost Recipe is the given opportunity to venture other skills aside from acting.
Recalling the memories before the pandemic, Paul Salas shared how he missed performing just like singing and dancing when they do mall shows in different cities.
“Love ko din po talaga kasi mag-perform, kumanta, sumayaw, ‘yun nga po ‘yung nakakamiss talaga sa last year itong mga pag ma-mall show namin, pag pe-perform namin sa mga fiesta.”
That said, he is grateful that he was given a chance to venture singing by bringing into life one of the theme songs of The Lost Recipe.
“Kailangan mong tanggapin ‘yun, ‘yung bright side na lang dun is may room kame for improvement lagi and feeling ko ‘yung show na i-improve kami lagi kasi about acting skill about sa mga emosyon lahat,” he added.
Asking what he wants viewers to learn from The Lost Recipe, Paul Salas shared that he wants them to learn about the value of love,
Knowing his character in The Lost Recipe, Frank Vergara is in an unrequited love with Apple (played by Mikee Quintos); when asked if he ever experienced the same scenario,
15. Tinanggap ko lang ng parang okay ayaw magpaligaw if wala talaga so, so okay lang naman po, puppylove lang naman po ‘yun,” Paul revealed shyly.
Recently, Paul Salas also admits that his love life was stressful back then. Relating to his current show, he revealed that food relieved him from the stress that he experienced.
Sa trabaho mahahandle pa,” said Paul.
To date, the Kapuso actor is contented with his current state in show business, most especially the flexibility that he has.
