After her stints on TV5’s Sunday Noontime Live (SNL) and Stay-In Love, Maris Racal is back on ABS-CBN.
Racal was present during the first virtual Big Night of Pinoy Big Brother: Connect on Sunday, March 14.
Glammed-up in her Sunday’s best, she graced the event as she sang her self-composed debut single, Tala.
The virtual Big Night event aired through Kapamilya Channel, A2Z Channel 11, and TV5. Also, via online platforms, including iWantTFC, Kumu, and ABS-CBN/PBB social media accounts.
Racal was delighted with her return to the Kapamilya network.
“It feels so good to be back! Thanks for having me tonight PBB,” she wrote on her Instagram page.

On the comments section, ABS-CBN executive and Star Magic head Lauren Dyogi welcomed back the ‘PBB All In’ alumna. “Welcome home,” Dyogi said.
To recall, Maris Racal was among the few celebrities who first appeared on another network after ABS-CBN’s forced shutdown in May 2020.
She became part of TV5’s now-defunct SNL and starred in the recently concluded romantic-comedy series Stay-In Love.
Previously, Racal did not confirm that she will return to the Kapamilya network. However, the young star mentioned that she is always open to any possibility.
Her appearance at the Big Night event on Sunday paved the way for that possibility.
Racal was also one of the artists who left ABS-CBN after shutdown but returned to their home network.
Among those celebrities were Dimples Romana, Ria Atayde, Jake Cuenca, her SNL co-performers Donny Pangilinan, Zephanie Dimaranan, and hunk actor-singer Piolo Pascual who will have an upcoming digital concert with the Network.
Given the decency between these artists and ABS-CBN, others are less likely to return to their home network where talent manager Ogie Diaz revealed that he holds a list of talents who have less or no chance of returning as a Kapamilya anymore.
