Magkaagaw, the high-rating daytime drama series, will conclude its run with a must-see finale on GMA Network’s Afternoon Prime block on Wednesday, March 31.
An intriguing drama harped on vengeance, Magkaagaw tells the story of two successful women caught in the traps of infidelity leading to the immeasurable pain of an innocent daughter. It has been a hit among Netizens and Kapuso viewers who have consistently followed the intense confrontation scenes that took them on a roller coaster of emotions.
Since the soap is already on its last few episodes, the cast members shared valuable lessons in the series. They also imparted thoughts about their respective characters, who became part of the daily lives of the Filipino viewers.
Sheryl Cruz, who received good reviews for her effective portrayal as Veron, learned the “importance of love and family.”
“Having a relationship with a married man would only lead you to heartbreaks so it’s best to have a relationship with someone who’s single. I admire her courage in the face of defeat and most especially the loyalty and the love she had for the men she loved in the series,” she explained.
Meanwhile, Sunshine Dizon highlighted the importance of “being efficient and prepared when you get to the shoot” especially when taping amid the pandemic. She also thanked the avid viewers who have been their source of strength and inspiration since day one.
“Thank you so much for watching and we hope you enjoyed Magkaagaw. Keep safe always.”
Klea Pineda hoped to have inspired the viewers with Clarisse’s resilience, “I’ve learned a lot sa character ko as Clarisse. Natutunan ko how to be strong like her, kahit na sobrang daming problema or challenges na dumating sa buhay niya. She chose to fight at hindi siya sumuko kahit kailan.”
Portraying Jio is both a challenging and fulfilling role for Jeric Gonzales.
He said, “I learned that we should be thankful for all the things we have now. We should appreciate them and not take them for granted. We should learn to resist temptation and know what is right and wrong.”
As the series comes to a close, will Veron’s (Sheryl) evil plans finally come to an end? Is there a happy ending waiting for Laura (Sunshine) and Oliver (Polo Ravales)? Will Jio (Jeric) and Clarisse’s (Klea) family be complete once again?
