GMA Network’s top-rating primetime series ‘Love of My Life’ is set to conclude its run this Friday (March 19), further piquing the interest of viewers and netizens with its unpredictable scenes and soul-stirring performances from the cast.
In its final week, Adelle (Carla Abellana) and Kelley (Rhian Ramos) get into a heated argument following the former’s confession to Nikolai (Mikael Daez). Feeling overwhelmed with all that’s been going on in their family, Nikolai flees and bids goodbye to everyone through an emotional video. Meanwhile, Adelle and Kelley’s no-holds-barred confrontation leads to Isabella (Coney Reyes) losing consciousness and getting hospitalized. Will the Gonzales family ever be united when Nikolai is still nowhere to be found and Adelle and Kelley’s issues are still unresolved?
With all the positive feedback and high ratings the show has been receiving, Coney attributes this success to the effort of everyone in their team, “It’s really the collaborative effort of everyone. Naniniwala ako na when there is unity, nakikita ‘yun and nagta-translate sa trabaho. Siguro dahil we help one another and we motivate each other whatever work it is. Kunwari sa production may nalulungkot or nahihirapan, we encourage one another. Ganoon din sa kapwa artista. Talagang nagta-translate sa trabaho and I think nararamdaman ng viewers iyon.”
Carla also admits that she has definitely enjoyed her role in the series, “Maraming salamat po for all the support. Honest enough to say na napakabigat po ng role and kwento pero ito po ‘yung pinaka nag-enjoy ako. I will forever cherish all that we’ve shared together from start to finish. We promise na hindi kayo mabibigo sa mga natitirang eksena sa serye.”
Rhian, in turn, reveals a discovery and unknown fact about Ms. Coney, “I’m not sure if people know this about Ms. Coney kasi ako hindi ko ‘to alam before na-meet ko siya. I was actually quite intimidated. I thought that she was a very serious person pero ayun pala she’s so fun and has a great sense of humor. Sometimes nga her energy is mas mataas pa sa akin.”
Meanwhile, Mikael shares his take on the Team Adelle vs. Team Kelley debate, “For me, I really like Nikolai and Kelley’s relationship at the very beginning, ‘yun tipong fun lang. My relationship with Bonez (Megan Young) was born out of a similar kind of fun. I understand ‘yung kilig na nandoon pero hindi nga lang nag-develop into love. For Adelle and Nikolai, it’s love. Kita mo sa interactions nila, nagwawala na agad ‘yung audience. Parang mas may lalim ‘yung kina Adelle and Nikolai kasi iba ‘yung unsaid and unshown feelings.”
