Primetime TV Royalty Maja Salvador bragged about her pairing with comedian and former star Kita Kita actor Empoy Marquez. She jokingly warned the KathNiel (Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla) tandem to better watch out.
During the media conference for her inspirational teleserye, Niña Niño–Maja said, “Kabahan na ang KathNiel.
“Alam nyo naman po na wala akong love team na sobrang nag-click talaga. Per project, oo di ba, but ito I have a good feeling, kabahan na ang KathNiel. Joke lang.”
She shared her experience working with the comedic actor.
“Pero with Empoy, ang sarap ka-trabaho kapag magaan eh. Walang ginagawa yung partner mo kung di patawanin ka lang.”
Empoy, on the other hand, shared his experience working with Maja, too.
“Nagkasama na po kami ni Maja before sa commercial at tsaka dun nga sa may ABS nagkakasama po kami. Sobrang mabait po yung tao na yan and magaan katrabaho. On and off camera, wala kayong hahanapin sa kanya. Maja Salvador, is Maja Salvador.”
After leaving Star Magic, Maja returned to the small screen via her new teleserye.

The series takes pride in its powerhouse cast Lilet Esteban, Ruby Ruiz, Ian Pangilinan, Sachzna, Junyka Santarin, Arron Villaflor, Moi Bien, and Dudz Teraña.
Award-winning Thop Nazareno is the director. The teleserye airs this April 5, 7:15 PM, Mondays to Fridays on TV 5 right before FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
