Comedienne-Host K Brosas noticed that most of their staff for TV5’s Videoke game show came from ABS-CBN.
In the media conference for the Videoke game show, Brosas noticed that most of the staff came from ABS-CBN. Because of that, she didn’t feel awkward walking into the set.
“Ang buong staff namin, maniwala man kayo sa hindi, lahat galing ng ABS. So walang ilangan factor.”
Brosas also highlighted that she didn’t feel any pressure hosting the iconic ’90s game show because of her background in Karaoke Sing-Alongs.
“Hindi naman ako masyadong na-pressure dahil kasi may papalitan. Kami ni Donita ay galing din sa Sing Along.”
She then added that the multi-awarded game show succeeded because its previous hosts were also products of Sing-Alongs.
“Ang daming awards, Best PMPC awards, pati Best Co-host, dahil si Allan K, na kaibigan ko, si Ms. Ai-ai na kaibigan ko din, si John Lapus, ay mayroong background sa Sing-Along. Which ito naman talaga ang vibe ng Sing Galing.”
Brosas added that she’s in her comfort zone as a host comedienne.
“Yung konsepto ng show, is alam ko sa sarilli ko, walang halong kayabangan or whatsoever, alam ko sa sarili ko na kakayanin ko ‘to, kasi nandoon ako sa comfort zone ko eh, as a host, comedienne host na kumakanta.”
Finally, she highlights Tiktok celebs helping them out to appeal to new generations as SingTokerists.
“Ang galing din ng nakaisip, kasi talagang naki-ano kami, nakiuso, kung ano dapat uso. Kaya pagdating sa Tiktok, ‘yung mga Gen Z, kasi iba talaga market ng Tiktok, mag-eenjoy din kayo dito.”
Sing Galing is a reboot of the multi-awarded Videoke game show from the ’90s hosted by Allan K and Ai-Ai De Las Alas. Now, Sing Masters Randy Santiago, Donita Nose, and K Brosas breathe new life into the iconic program to the Filipino’s love for Karaoke with Juke Bosses Rey Valera, Ronnie Liang, and Jessa Zaragoza. The show also caters to netizens, with Tiktok star Viral Zinger Zendee.
