All sectors of the community were greatly affected by the pandemic. Many establishments have closed, businesses have filed for bankruptcy, workers have lost their job, and some have even lost their loved ones.
It has been a year since the Philippines was placed on lockdown to prevent the spread of COVID-19 virus yet it seems that our condition is not getting any better.
With this, singer Julie Anne San Jose shared a message of hope for the public amidst this global health crisis.

Julie Anne posted a photo of her that was taken way back in March 2020 during a shooting in Samar, before the nationwide lockdown was imposed.
She said that the past year has been a rollercoaster ride. Many things happened yet some plans and expectations were not met. We struggled a lot but in the end, we learned something.
“It’s been a rollercoaster year. So much has happened and yet so much did not happen. So many challenges and losses, yet we learned and we also gained,” she wrote.
Despite all of these struggles, the singer reminded everyone that we are not alone. She is also optimistic that there will light at the end of this prolonged tunnel.
“Sa kabila ng lahat ng ito, it’s important to remember that none of us is alone. No matter how scared, or trapped, or alone you feel, things can only get better,” Julie Anne wrote.
We should also realize the fact that “we are still here,” after all of those trials the world has faced, we are still alive, and that is something to be thankful for.
“We can still hope, dream and live life on purpose. We are #STILLHERE.”
One of the industries that have been greatly affected by the pandemic is the entertainment industry. Tapings and live shows were put on hold, shows were canceled, and some talents were even laid-off. Good thing, the industry is coping up with the pandemic lately through lock-in tapings and following health protocols while on set.
Though we aim to be optimistic despite what’s happening, we cannot avoid worrying about the country’s condition which is now again getting worse.
On Friday, the country registers an all-time high of 7,103 new COVID-19 cases within 24 hours, for a total of 73,624 active cases, also the highest for the last seven months.
One year since the lockdown but, until now, we are still stuck with the question, when will this end?
