Jodi Sta. Maria and Raymart Santiago posted cryptic messages on their respective Instagram accounts, which Netizens insinuated to be the couple’s response to Claudine Barretto’s rants about the two.
Barretto is the estranged wife of Santiago. Meanwhile, Sta. Maria and Santiago went public with their relationship in October 2020.
It can be remembered that Barretto previously mentioned that she was displeased with Sta. Maria and Santiago’s relationship as the couple broke a promise with her. However, Barretto still wished them well.
Barretto said that Sta. Maria was a bad influence on her estranged husband.
“Hindi magandang influence si Jodi sa kaniya (Raymart),” she said in an interview with Abantelliling.
“Mas okay siyang tatay nung hindi pa sila eh.”
She explained that she felt offended that Jodi introduced Raymart to his son Thirdy [Lacson] but didn’t make an effort to tell Barretto’s children.
“Pero yung anak niya, yun yung nakakainis dun, yung anak niya si Thirdy, inupo nila ni Raymart at in-explain na bagong boyfriend niya ulet. Diba? Parang, ang bastos noh? Diba, nakalimutan yung mga anak ko,” she said.
Both Sta. Maria and Santiago had separate posts on their IG accounts, which seemed to be the couple’s response to Barretto.

Jodi shared that people should focus on things that matter instead of being distracted by those that do not.
“We only have so much time and energy. Are you focusing on the majors of life? Focusing on the things that matter is a good way to fight against the unnecessary noise and distraction,” Sta. Maria wrote in her caption.
“Make life worth living. Choose your battles. Laugh always. Love hard. Show compassion and appreciation,” she added.
Santiago posted about being happy saying, “A smiling face is a beautiful face. A smiling heart is a happy heart.”

To recall, Marjorie Barretto, who is Claudine’s sister and long-time enemy, liked Santiago’s Instagram post.
Barretto and Santiago have also been on bad terms as they have court issues due to Santiago’s alleged failure to pay child support. They got married in 2006 and separated in 2013.
Raymart is seen on FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano starring Coco Martin while Jodi is part of the teleserye Ang sa Iyo ay Akin along with Iza Calzado and Sam Milby.
