In the press conference for the upcoming GMA Network Teleserye, First Yaya, Joaquin “JD” Domagoso revealed that his dad, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno has no plans of running for the presidency in the 2022 elections and that he doesn’t want to live in Malacañang Palace.
He also listed all the cons if his Dad would pursue the bid for the presidency.
“Sana po hindi ayaw ko po talaga. Wala parang baka umiba na yung tingin ng tao sa akin. Or magiging mahirap ang buhay eh, may body guard ka na lagi, edi papano ‘yun, papano ka makaka-enjoy ng buhay,” said JD.
JD then said that his Dad, Mayor Isko, has no plans of running for the presidency in the 2022 elections.
“Hindi opinyon ng dad ko gusto nya rin, ayaw naman nya magtakbo bilang presidente hanggang mayor lang po sya,” said JD.
JD also pointed out that he has different interests from his father, and he has always wanted to pursue an acting career.
“Sa akin okay lang naman na ma-compare ako sa tatay ko kasi given naman yun eh na maco-compare kami. Pero, that’s not my focus, naman eh. (Because) that’s what he wanted to do when he was a kid. And, ako naman gusto ko rin naman maging artista so hindi ko naman kino-compare yung mga achievements nya sa akin,” said JD.
JD stars in the upcoming GMA Network teleserye, First Yaya. Alongside the young talent are lead actors Gabby Concepcion and Sanya Lopez. The cast also includes Maxine Medina, Pancho Magno, Pilar Pilapil, Gardo Versoza, Sandy Andolong, Buboy Garovillo, Cassy Legaspi, Cacai Bautista, Thou Reyes, Glenda Garcia, Analyn Barro, Anjo Damiles, Jerrick Dolormente, Cai Cortez, Kiel Rodriguez, and Jhenzel Angeles.
