Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque seemed to be hinting at ABS CBN’s television drama anthology Maalala Mo Kaya hosted by Ms. Charo Santos-Concio.
On Roque’s official facebook page, the government official posted a status saying that if his life will be featured on ABS CBN’s Maalaala Mo Kaya–he felt people who will be watching will be sorry for the actor who will be portraying him because all he does is study, in life.
Kung ipapaMMK ang buhay ko, maaawa lang kayo sa artista. Puro aral lang inaatupag 🤷♂️ #kalmaAkoLangTo

Netizens reacted differently and mostly were negative ones toward Roque’s post.
On Twitter, one Netizen said if Roque’s story–will get featured, the first 20 minutes of the episode will be a monologue. It’s because Roque doesn’t have real friends.

Some even argued that Roque’s life story is not qualified and even said that his life story befits the horror genre, so he shouldn’t bother hinting at MMK.
Wehh pang MMK ba buhay mo pwede ka shake rattle and roll revive..🤣🤣

Others also brought up the issue of Harry Roque being against the ABS-CBN network.
Hayop na to MMK pa talaga eh pinasara niyo nga yung ABS. Hanggang Magpakailanman ka lang tanga. Sa Imbestigador nga bagay isadula buhay mo lintek ka!

What does his Facebook post mean? Is he hinting at some public exposure from ABS CBN for some bigger plans in the future?
Tracking back, Harry Roque appeared on ABS CBN‘s Gandang Gabi Vice, where the former had airtime; this even caused some Netizens to bash the host for being ‘mean’ and ‘disrespectful’ on asking Roque some hypothetical questions.
Following the cease-and-desist order from the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), ABS-CBN had to shut down.
Presidential Spokesperson Roque has always received criticisms for his statements on the Network’s shutdown. One of which is when he said that the Network’s shutdown shouldn’t be compared to the reopening of Chinese-run Philippine offshore gaming operations (POGOs) even while COVID-19 business restrictions were in-placed last year.
“Ang importante po ‘yung kikitain natin sa POGO na mahigit P1 bilyon kada buwan ay pupunta po lahat sa COVID-19.”
Even Roque’s guest appearance in Wowowin– he made a joke about the shutdown of ABS-CBN.
“Sa kauna-unahang pagkakataon, ikaw lang ang napapanood sa buong bands. Alam mo, duda ko, kaya ‘yung isa nawalan ng prangkisa, ikaw may kagagawan niyan e. Oh, aminin, aminin,” he said while laughing to Revillame.
Bibigyam platform at isasabuhaybpa yung nangbully at yes to shutdown? Gurl… pic.twitter.com/aMXjBwMr7Q
