Nash Aguas quickly dismissed claims that he had gotten his 2-year girlfriend, young actress Mika Dela Cruz, pregnant.
Via an Instagram video post on March 8, Aguas laughed off a YouTube video inaptly reporting that he and Dela Cruz are expecting a child.
His video post was captioned, “Sinend sakin ng tropa yung link HAHAHA MAGINGAT PO KAYO SA FAKE NEWS bye socmed na ulit HAHA.”

The YouTube video reported that the young couple expects to marry in 2022 and hopes for a healthy and safe pregnancy, which Aguas couldn’t believe how easily fake news spread.
Aguas inferred that it all began when he shared a sweet photo of him and former Kara Mia actress as he was addressing the false assumptions in the video.
In the photo, Dela Cruz was sitting on his lap, wearing a white dress, as if she were a child about to be baptized. Aguas uploaded the photo morning of March 8.
“Imbitado po kayong lahat sa binyag ng aking anak na si @mikadlcruz HAHAHAHAHAHHA SORRY NA LABYU HAHAHA,” Aguas jokingly wrote on his caption.

It was all in good fun between them, but the fake news peddler cut out a section of his post to make it seem as though he was inviting people to his child’s baptism.
Moreover, the YouTube channel confirmed that Aguas allegedly got Dela Cruz pregnant.
According to the headline of the said news, “Confirmed! NASH Aguas, NABUNTIS na ang Girlfriend na si MIKA DELA CRUZ!”
It seemed that who created the news misunderstood his caption, resulting in fake news.
Aguas took a video of the report on YouTube as he explained the story behind his “baptism” post.
“So kanina nag-post po ako, itong picture na ‘to, ‘tas mukhang nakapambinyag si Mika,” the young actor said while showing his previous Instagram post.
“So, sabi ko sa caption, ‘Imbitado po kayong lahat sa binyag ng aking anak na si Mika Dela Cruz,” he said.
He added, “Kasi, mukha siyang bibinyagan, e. So, kaninang umaga ko ‘yon pinost ha.”
“Ayon sa YouTube, buntis na si Mika!” he said, sharing his computer screen while the YouTube video played.
While watching the rest of the video, the young actor could be heard laughing, saying “Oh my God” and “What the f?”
Nash Aguas and Mika Dela Cruz were among the cast members of the longest-running kiddie gag show Goin’ Bulilit. In 2011, they were part of the batch 7 graduates along with Noemi Oineza, Aaliyah Benisano, and Sharlene San Pedro.
They’ve also appeared in teleseryes together, playing younger versions of the main characters in dramas like Dahil May Isang Ikaw and Guns and Roses. They were also cast in the teen comedy series Luv U.
In an interview, Aguas revealed that he reunited with Dela Cruz years apart at a reunion of former ‘Goin’ Bulilit’ child stars.
When the 22-year-old actor saw Dela Cruz, he said his long-buried feelings for her were rekindled and would court and pursue her.
On October 20, 2018, the young actress decided to make it official between them.
Aguas also explained that he did not pursue Dela Cruz while still dating Alexa Ilacad, his former love team partner. He clarified that he began courting Dela Cruz after he and Alexa called it quits.
The two recently celebrated their 2nd anniversary on October 2020.
