Icy and spicy, Fridge releases their brand new single “Auto Parts” under Ivory Music & Video and is now available on all digital platforms. The song was mixed and mastered by Jam Bumanlag of Nineworkz Productions.

“Auto Parts could be a song of any kind of heartbreak (romantically and in any form, actually) without looking pitiful, being cheesy, or saying or begging for attention. It takes pride, anger, revenge, and a little bit of craziness from all sections, started from the instrument up to the lyrics and the whole content of the song,” said the band’s very own frontman, Franz Santiago.
“Auto Parts” was also featured in the “Toast or Roast” podcast hosted by former DJs from NU107 Francis Brew Reyes (of The Dawn and Peso Movement) and Kim Marvilla, a few weeks ago wherein they critic up-and-coming local artists. The band earned some positive comments from the hosts together with a couple of special guests from The Cover Collective, Eric Hotchkiss of Auburn Anne, and Wacky Acosta of Halik Ni Gringo. They see the band (Fridge) as a breath of fresh air from the local scene. A Post-Rock band with a great balance of soothing vocals powered by two-handed riffs with unpredictable basslines, and punchy breakdowns.
FRIDGE is a four-piece Alternative Rock / Post Rock / Experimental band formed in January 2019 with members; Franz Santiago on guitar and vocals, Mathew Santos on lead guitar, Steve Ducay on bass, and Bryan Victoria on drums, all hailing from San Mateo, Rizal.
From “Ball is Life” to “Food is Life”, the band got their name from the refrigerator, where all great things like food and booze come from — hence “FRIDGE.” Despite having different influences such as indie, pop, new wave, math rock, emo, and metal, they find their common ground with their passion for rock music that gives them an advantage in creating unique and realistic music.
