Seasoned actor Dominic Ochoa said that the inspirational teleserye, Huwag Kang Mangamba, fits the current pandemic situation. He also said that the series inspires people to seek the Lord through these trying times.

He also thanked ABS-CBN and Dreamscape Entertainment for creating such a story.

“It’s one year na tayo ngayon sa pandemic since nagkaroon ng lockdown. And, siguro natataon itong ginawa ng ABS-CBN no, I’m very thankful na medyo sensitive ang ABS, ang Dreamscape sa paggawa at pagbuo ng ganitong istorya.

“It’s basically inspiring people to seek the Lord, to seek his grace.”

Then, he recounted the struggles he faced during the pandemic, from an accident, losing a show, to the ABS-CBN shutdown.

“I got into an accident; I lost a show so pasan ko ang daigdig last year. And then nagkaroon pa ng pandemic, parang andaming pumapasok sa isip mo, tapos may shutdown pa tayo,” said Dominic.

Finally, he said that he surrendered his doubts from last year to God through prayers.

“But, alam mo lahat yan dinasal ko eh. At the end of the day, niluhod ko yan sa Diyos. Iniyakan ko yan sa harapan ng simbahan.”

Dominic starred in previous Kapamilya inspirational teleseryes such as May Bukas Pa and 100 Days to Heaven.

Now he joins the cast of Kapamilya Network’s newest inspirational series, Huwag Kang Mangamba. Gold Squad Members Andrea Brillantes, Francine Diaz. Kyle Echarri and Seth Fedelin top-bills the inspirational teleserye. Aside from the Gold Squad, the teleserye, also has a powerhouse cast including Sylvia Sanchez, Nonie Buencamino, Mylene Dizon, RK Bagatsing, Diether Ocampo, Enchong Dee, Angeline Quinto, Matet De Leon, Soliman Cruz, Mercedes Cabral, Paolo Gumabao, and Alyanna Angeles.

Created by Rondel Lindayag and Danica Domingo and directed by Emmanuel Q. Palo, Jerry Lopez Sineneng, and Darnel Villaflor, the series aims to bring Bro (Jesus), faith, and inspiration back to the small screen.

The teleserye premieres on March 20 on iWantTFC and on March 22 on Kapamilya Channel, TV5, A2Z, and Kapamilya Online Live.
