The original Amor Powers of the famed Pangako Sa ‘Yo (2000-02) Eula Valdez shared her thoughts about what it’s like working with the Gold Squad.
She pointed that the teen stars know how to respect their elders.
In the media conference for the upcoming inspirational teleserye, Huwag Kang Mangamba, Valdez imparted her experience working with the Gold Squad (Andrea Brillantes, Francine Diaz, Kyle Echarri, and Seth Fedelin).
“Suprisingly, kahit bata sila masasaya silang kasama. May respeto sa mga nakakantanda. At kahit sa mga kaedad nila hindi sila bargas.”
She also thanked ABS-CBN and Star Magic for training the four young artists well.
“Very thankful din ako na tene-train sila ng ABS, ng Star Magic dahil makikita mo kung ano ugali nila. Mabubuting bata.”
Valdez also described the younger stars are like ‘old souls’ when it comes to their taste in music.
“Natutuwa ako na mga old souls din sila kasi mahilig sila sa mga music na kahit yung mga hindi pa sila pinapanganak, nakikinig sila sa music.”
Earlier, Eula revealed that she suffered from anxiety attacks due to the lockdowns.
“One year ago. March 14 ang last taping namin ng Love Thy Woman. And then, kinabukasan lock down na yung buong Pilipinas. Dun ako nagkaroon ng anxiety attack.”
She then added that having projects such as Huwag Kang Mangamba helped her battle anxiety.
“Nakatulong sa anxiety ko na nakapagtrabaho ako ulit at parang himala na tuloy tuloy ang trabaho.”
Eula worked on Kapamilya teleserye, Love Thy Woman, in 2020 during the pandemic.
Eula now stars in the upcoming inspirational teleserye, Huwag Kang Mangamba, alongside Gold Squad–Andrea, Francine, Kyle, and Seth.
The series aims to bring Bro (Jesus), faith, and inspiration back to the small screen. The cast also includes seasoned actors Sylvia Sanchez, Nonie Buencamino, Mylene Dizon, RK Bagatsing, Diether Ocampo, Matet De Leon, Enchong Dee, Angeline Quinto, Soliman Cruz, Mercedes Cabral, Paolo Gumabao, and Alyanna Angeles.
