Kapamilya actor Enchong Dee shared his opinion regarding the viral video that surfaced over the Net. It showed men distributing calendars, and a woman’s voice (in the background) asked about their activity.
Dee stressed that the recent video only proved that Sara Duterte has plans of becoming the next President. Even the pandemic cannot stop her ambition.
The video figured after the rumors that Sara Duterte and her father, Pres. Rodrigo Duterte, will be running mates in the 2022 Presidential and Vice Presidential elections.
The election is still far, yet some politicians are already gearing up for it.
It seemed that the men are Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte’s supporters captured in a video taken, Wednesday, March 24.
Duterte’s legal chief counselor, Salvador Panelo introduced this idea in which several senators have given their opinion.
"May pandemya, namumulitika?"
Oh loko! Ginalit niyo si Ate.

The guys distributed calendars with texts printed “SARA Cares for the Philippines.” It drew ‘negative’ reactions from celebrities and Netizens.
The woman, who did not accept the calendar, pointed out that there is still an ongoing pandemic, but the mayor’s supporters were busy politicking.
The video took the rounds on twitter. It was shared by PinoyAkoBlog, who admired the woman for standing up for what is right.
In conclusion: yung na-mention pala nung spokesperson ng 🐢 ay yung anak pala… gets gets!
Now it’s clear who politicizes and wants to be President in the middle of a pandemic 🤮🤮 https://t.co/vrvgXL0Qki

Meanwhile, journalist James Jimenez cited Republic Act No. 9369, which stated the appropriate time when a candidate can commence his or her campaign–is at the start of the campaign period, not before.
Any person who files his [certificate of candidacy] shall [only be considered as a candidate at the start of the campaign period]… Provided, That, [unlawful acts or omissions applicable] to a candidate [shall effect only upon that start of the aforesaid campaign period] -RA9369

A Netizen also concluded that the distribution of election paraphernalia is premature campaigning.
@rowena_guanzon @jabjimenez This video is clear evidence of premature campaigning.

Also, in the video, it was clear that the ones distributing the calendars were minors.
A Netizen was disgusted at how politicians have exploited the young for their political agenda and pointed out how some people would use minors to earn a few bucks.
Medjo naawa ako sa mga batang yan… exploited ng mga demonyong naniniwala na kayang pagalawin lahat ng pera… malamang barya barya lang din at pameryenda lang ang sa kanila… yung team leader nila ang masarap sipain sa mukha

ABS-CBN creative manager Willy Cuevas tried to ignite some fire as he pointed that Sara Duterte got ahead of Senator Bong Go, who is also gunning for the Presidential seat in 2022.

With the supporters distributing a calendar, a Netizen pointed out that the masses do not need a ‘Sara Cares’ calendar.
We don't need a Sara Cares calendar. We keep track of the time spent in this fucking quarantine by scratching tally lines on the wall, thank you. https://t.co/UNzf5Do7Bq

Another Netizen also emphasized what the people need—vaccines and support from the Government.
Bakuna at Ayuda ang obvious na kailangan ng tao, hindi kalendaryo at pamumulitika.#kapalngmukha https://t.co/D7Teya1XFp

Last February, Pres. Duterte dismissed rumors about his daughter running for President in the upcoming 2022 elections. According to Duterte, the Presidency is not for women. However, the alleged Davao City mayor supporters ran amock by setting up tarpaulins alongside EDSA to encourage the Presidential daughter to run for the Presidential seat.
