As part of the celebration of Women’s Month, ABS-CBN’s online show I Feel U, featured two of Kapamilya female stars–Barbie Imperial and Heaven Peralejo, who are both PBB alumnae faced the sizzling questions from the show’s host, Toni Gonzaga.
Toni lauded the two young artists for their exemplary performances in the series, Bagong Umaga.
“Napakagandang blessing na, in the midst of the pandemic, nakapagbigay kayo ng isang napakagandang programa para sa ating mga Kapamilya and you are finishing strong,” Toni said.
Toni then asked Heaven about her experience with lock-in tapings.
Heaven compared the experience with Pinoy Big Brother, where all the cast and staff are together 24/7. She also said that they are like one big family on the set.
“Kahit nahihirapan, at least naiisip mo pa rin at the end of the day na nakakabigay ka ng saya sa mga Kapamilya natin all over the world,” Heaven said.
Kiko-Devon third party?
Speaking of lock-in tapings, Toni then asked Heaven about the recent allegation saying that she is the cause of the break-up of her co-star in the series–Kiko Estrada, and his girlfriend Devon Seron.
Heaven previously cleared her name against the rumors that she is a third party of Kiko and Devon. In this interview, she reiterated that the rumors are not true.
Heaven thinks that her on-cam chemistry with Kiko was given malice, where in fact, they are just doing it because their job demands them to do so.
“Noong last taping po namin, ang dami naming scenes together and I feel like nabigyan lang yon ng another meaning. We were talking kasi kailangan lang namin ng chemistry for the show, lahat yun para sa trabaho lang,” Heaven clarified.
“Hindi naman po talaga totoo ang issue, nakakatawa lang siya and syempre nakakastress siya for me and Mom,” she added.
If Heaven’s emotional state is annoyed, how about Barbie?
Barbie: ‘Happy and loved’.
The happiness and contentment of Barbie truly radiate. She said that she is delighted and feeling loved.
“Happy and loved, sobrang light lang ng feeling,” she said.
To recall, her relationship with Diego Loyzaga recently made a buzz online after the latter made a romantic surprise for her.
She then revealed that they started as friends before having a romantic relationship.
“Friends na po kame, before pa, since 2018. That time, may kanya-kanya po kameng lovelife,” she said.
Even when they both became single, though they want to try to commit to one another, they are just fully aware that it is not yet the right time.
During Diego‘s hiatus, Barbie accordingly remained a friend to lean on.
“Kinakamusta ko pa rin siya kahit nandun siya, magkalayo kame. Tinetext ko parin siya kahit di naman talaga siya magrereply,” she said.
“Then nung bumalik siya, nabasa niya yung mga texts namin magkakaibigan na sobrang concerned kame para sakanya.”
When Diego reunited with his friends, including Barbie, that’s the time when they started to develop deeper feelings for one another.
“Very grateful for God’s timing,” she said.
Barbie believes that they are now more mature and ready to be in a relationship.
Source of strength and power.
Heaven considers her mother as her source of strength and role model.
“She is my everything. My weakness and my strength, my black and white, siya yung nagtuturo saakin ng lahat, how to handle everything.”
For Barbie, her fighting spirit is stemmed from her past experiences using the lesson given by her mother.
“Yung mama ko, siya yung nagturo saakin na pwede kang maging palaban na wala kang tinatapakan na tao.”
