In the media conference for the ABS-CBN’s Pinoy Big Brother: Connect Big Night, housemate Andrea Abaya shared her thoughts on handling bashers from the outside world.
Andrea recounted her journey inside the PBB house, highlighting that it felt “fulfilling.” She also highlighted the tasks she faced during her stay inside Kuya’s house.
“For me, if I were to describe my journey dito sa bahay ni Kuya, it would be fulfilling dahil kahit anong pagsubok ‘yung hinarap ko dito ang dami kong natutunan. And, ang dami kong na-achieve. Kahit manalo man kami or matalo sa mga weekly task namin. Sa mga weekly challenges at the end of every challenge, we all feel like winners dahil sa mga lessons na nakukuha namin sa mga hamon ni Kuya,” said Andrea.
She then said that she feels ready to handle several of her bashers from the outside world through knowing herself. She also said that no one can define her and uses this as a mindset in facing bashers.
“Naniniwala ako na handa akong harapin yung mga magiging bashers ko sa outside world. Kasi maha-handle ko to, through knowing who I really am. Kasi ako lang ‘yung nakakakilala sa sarili ko, and no one else can define who I am. And, ‘yun lang magiging mindset ko to deal with these bashers,” said Andrea.
Finally, Andrea said she looks forward to sharing her strength and the lessons she learned inside the PBB house with her family, friends, and supporters.
“Yung nilo-look forward ko sa outside world is ‘yung strength and ‘yung lahat ng natutunan ko dito sa bahay ni Kuya, gusto kong i-spread sa outside world. Gusto kong i-share ‘yung strength na to and ‘yung lessons na to sa pamilya ko sa mga kaibigan ko and sa lahat ng taong nagsusuporta sa akin. Kasi, ‘yung strength na ito, yung tumulong talaga sa akin para mag-grow,” said Andrea.
Andrea won the 2nd big placer seat with Php 500,000 during PBB: Connect’s Big Night. Despite having several bashers online, the Cheerdance Sweetheart of Parañaque snagged the 2nd big placer spot with 16.60% of overall votes.
