After spending some time alone for two years, actress-beauty queen Winwyn Marquez admitted that she is now happily committed with someone or is now ‘in a relationship’.
Marquez decided to enjoy her single life. She focused on acting and joined military training with the Philippine Navy after ending her three-year relationship with ex-boyfriend Mark Herras.
At GMA Network’s virtual media conference for the romantic-comedy series, ‘Owe My Love’–the [current] love life of Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 Queen, the press asked about it.
“Okay naman, masaya naman po ako ngayon. Masaya naman, kasi I’m not single anymore,” she stated.
She managed to be laconic in giving details of the ‘special’ guy who captured her heart and shared that the guy is from the Philippines.
However, according to Marquez, due to her recent lock-in tapping schedules–they both are unable to spend time together.
Despite that, the actress is still glad to celebrate Valentine’s Day, the week after with her Owe My Love fellow cast members.
“I’m happy. Happy ‘yung heart ko and happy ako dito, kahit malayo ‘yung loved one ko. Okay lang, tsaka na kami magkikita after lock-in,” the Kapuso actress said.
In the same press conference, the marine reservist also admitted that she had never talked to ex-partner Mark Herras since they parted ways. But she was happy to see how Mark’s life has grown into and pursued a family with current partner Nicole Donesa.
It was in January 2019 when Marquez and Herras confirmed their break-up. They clarified that there was no third party involved. It was a mutual decision.
Months later, Herras confirmed his romantic relationship with Donesa after both worked together in GMA’s teleserye Bihag and recently got engaged in June 2020.
Donesa recently gave birth to their son with the nickname was Corky.
Marquez mentioned that if given a chance she is open to working with her former boyfriend and congratulate him for being a first-time dad.
“I haven’t talked to him since we broke up. And wala pa kaming chance magkaroon ng work together or guesting. Pero siyempre, if I see him, or magkaroon kami ng chance na magkatrabaho ulit, I will congratulate him,” Marquez said.
Marquez will portray a villainess in GMA’s upcoming romantic-comedy series, Owe My Love. However, her role will be with a twist.
She is the antagonist of Lovi Poe and Benjamin Alves‘ characters. She is Trixie, who has a hard time moving on from her ex-boyfriend.
Owe My Love is a series directed by Ray Gibraltar and Rember Gelera which will premiere starting February 15 on GMA telebabad, weeknights at 9:35 p.m.
