‘Wowowin’ host Willie Revillame praised Coco Martin for his humility.
Recently, the host became a senior citizen as he celebrated his 60th birthday.
The showbiz industry joined the celebration and stars from different networks sent their greetings to the host.
One of those who greeted him was Coco Martin. Despite being a Kapamilya, he still managed to send Willie a video greeting.
With this, the ‘Wowowin’ host talked about his first meeting with the ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ actor.
Accordingly, they met in Tagaytay when Coco visited his rest house with John Estrada.
“He went there para sabihan ako, ‘Kuya Willie, idol ko po kayo,’” Willie shared.
From then, Willie said that he would never forget how down-to-earth Coco was.
“A humble guy, Coco Martin. Isipin mo, hindi pa siya ‘Ang Probinsyano’ noon pero there was a time gusto lang niya ako ma-meet. Hindi ko makakalimutan ‘yun, Coco, nagpakumbaba ka sa akin,” Willie said.
Coco’s purpose for visiting Willie’s house was to gain inspiration from the types of furniture that he wanted for his house in Quezon City.
“Gusto mo lang ako makilala at gusto mong makita yung bahay ko sa Tagaytay at gagayahin mo ‘yung mga furniture at di ba tinanong mo sa akin kung sino ang nag-garden niyan, nag-landscape?” the Wowowin host shared.
FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’, starring Coco, registered their highest viewership on Kapamilya Online Live last January 21.
Based on Dreamscape Entertainment, they recorded 80,000 concurrent live viewers on YouTube alone.
Coco will also star in his first movie with Angelica Panganiban entitled, “Love or Money” which will be directed by Mae Cruz Alviar.
It will be available for streaming starting March 12 on KTX.ph, iWant TFC, TFC IPTV, Cignal PPV, and Sky Cable PPV.
