GMA Network warmly welcomed Royce Cabrera with a series of TV projects.
Last December, Royce became part of the GMA Artist Center’s (GMAAC) roster of talents as he signed a management contract with the network.
In an exclusive interview with RAWR Nation, he revealed that he feels overwhelmed by how the Kapuso network welcomed him.
“Sobrang saya, sobrang nakakaenjoy kasi ‘di ko inexpect na ganoon ako i-wewelcome ng Kapuso, nakakatouch para sa akin.”
Despite being a fresh Kapuso, the network did not hesitate to give him mainstream TV projects right away.
His first project is the romance-anthology ‘My Fantastic Pag-ibig’. He will be working with StarStruck Season 7 alumna Ella Cristofani in the third episode of the show.
Royce hinted that their episode will be about ‘ghosting’ and advised viewers to watch out for it because they prepared so much for the show.
The episode of Royce and Ella will be aired on February 13, a day before Valentine’s day.
Aside from the said show, Royce also revealed that he will be part of the TV adaption of ‘Nagbabagang Luha’, a 1988 movie under Regal Films.
The said adaptation will star Glaiza de Castro, Rayver Cruz, Claire Castro, and Mike Tan.
He also kept his character in the teleserye confidential.
“Yung character ko po dito, syempre abangan po nila, sino ako dito at ano ang papel ko sa buhay ng character nila,” he said.
Royce also confirmed that he will be starring in a daring Magpakailanman episode soon.
“Tulad nga ng sabi niyo, gumagawa ako ng mga mapangahas na roles at ‘eto ipapamalas ko rin sa Magpakailanman, kaya abangan rin po ninyo.”
He feels blessed because he will also be part of season 2 of the BL series, ‘Ben x Jim‘. It will be directed by Easy Ferrer under the Regal Films.
“So season 2 po na kasama ako dito, at kung mapapanood niyo po ang trailer medyo mystery pa yung character ko,” he said.
“Mystery nga din talaga ang naging takbo ng character ko dito,” he added.
Royce is one of the artists who started as a theater actor, to playing indie roles, and now being part of GMAAC.
The hunk rose to prominence with his roles in BL themed series and movie, ‘F#*@BOIS’ and ‘Alter Me’.
