Sixteen long years of making music together, Plethora (which means a large or excessive amount of) with members LJ Herrera (vocalist/bassist), Aldrin Isaguire (keyboardist), Jesser Pello (drummer), and Andrew Isaguire (lead guitarist) first formed their band in high school, as they were schoolmates and cousins. They literally grew up together, and even as kids, they already shared the same interest in making good music.
The group’s main genre which is alternative and rock, also flourished to reggae and mellow music proving their flexibility and versatility.
Plethora, living to its name, boasts a long list of original songs, which are all results of team efforts. “We’re all open to suggestions. We set meetings and we collaborate. We always talk things out,” LJ lamented.
They also want to inspire people through their wide range of self-composed music, especially the youth and break the stereotype – that musicians are irresponsible and do drugs.
After their major feat as Greenwich Ultimate Bandkada Search Season 2 grand Champion in 2016, BMPI Talent Center inked a management deal with the group and immediately signed a record distribution deal with Warner Music Philippines releasing their maiden digital track “Hindi Na Bale” in April 2019.
During lockdown in 2020, Plethora engaged themselves into composing more original songs, live stream gig and vlogging to make the situation worthwhile.
This year, their management company, BMPI, will stage virtual benefit concert on February 28, 2021, 7pm dubbed as “Plethora: After 2020” via the newest live stream application, Qoneq.
To join them are premiere rap artist Gloc-9, Brazil-based pop band Milan, Kimberly Baluzo of The Wishfuls, newest online comedian Aling Nena, Callalily front man Kean Cipriano and OPM iconic band The Dawn’s lead vox Jett Pangan.
