In an exclusive interview, Pinoy Big Brother: Connect evictee Gail Banawis shared the story behind her ‘kilig’ moments with housemate Ralph Malibunas.
She recounted the first time they met. Gail then mentioned that she immediately felt that they could vibe together.
“Si Ralph kasi, makulit sya na tao when we first met–I felt like we could really vibe together,” said Gail.
She then added that she didn’t expect that Ralph would like her back. Gail also considered her attraction to Ralph as a one-sided admiration.
“I didn’t expect anything to happen–I wasn’t expecting him (Ralph) to like me back. Parang, admiration na lang from my end.”
Then, Gail recounted where their connection started. She said that she shared a dream about Ralph with the housemate, which coincidentally, Ralph had a similar one.
“Kasi, what really happened was I told him about a dream I had about him, and then he told me na pareho kami. So that’s how it really started. And it started unfolding that we do have similar feelings for each other,” said Gail.
When asked if she considers this event a serendipitous moment, Gail could only give a heartwarming reply.
“Kilig! I don’t know, maybe,” said Gail.
When asked if she wants to have a love team with Ralph, Gail agreed.
“Yeah, I’m willing.”
Gail was one of the two evictees in PBB: Connect’s double eviction night this past Valentine’s day. Alongside Alyssa Exala, she exited the PBB house. During her stay, fans of the ABS-CBN show noticed the chemistry and kilig moments between her and PBB housemate Ralph. The heartwarming story intensified when Ralph confessed to having feelings for Gail. Sadly, the eviction cut their budding love story short.
