Actor Nonie Buencamino recalled his dreadful experience that involved the passing of his daughter Julia. He shared this story for the promotional videos of Dreamscape Entertainment‘s latest series Huwag Kang Mangamba—where the stars shared their faith in God amid their various crisis in life.
Huwag Kang Mangamba is under the direction of Jerry Lopez Sineneng, Darnel Joy Villaflor, and Emmanuel Palo. Other than Nonie, the series stars Andrea Brillantes, Francine Diaz, Seth Fedelin, Kyle Echarri, and several others.
Nonie shared the story about his daughter that challenged his faith in God. But he said that through prayer, he was able to find peace within himself.
“May Diyos ba?
Nonie’s daughter, Julia, was found dead inside their home in Quezon City back in July 2015. She was 15 years old at the time.
Buencamino is known for his theater work and is strongly associated with Philippine New Wave Cinema. He played Mayor Bartolome in Jun Lana‘s Barber’s Tales and Felipe Buencamino in Jerrold Tarog‘s Heneral Luna.
His upcoming series Huwag Kang Mangamba will premiere on April 5 via Kapamilya Channel and A2Z.
