Moira Dela Torre’s ‘Paubaya’ music video created a buzz online as it featured ex-couple Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia.
Many hearts were broken on Valentine’s Day after the release of ‘Paubaya’ MV caused by the true-to-life acting of Julia and Joshua.
The ex-couple seemingly gave their awaited ‘closure’ after their breakup in 2019 through the music video.
The MV relates a story of a couple who decided to get married. Unfortunately, the bride (Julia) backed out, leaving the groom (Joshua) devastated. She returned to the altar afterward and had a heartbreaking conversation with the groom.
They both acknowledged that they did their best to keep their relationship but ended up realizing that maybe they are not meant for each other.
Before saying goodbye, they asked for forgiveness for all of their shortcomings.
Julia and Joshua’s natural acting in the said scene really hit the netizens. They even wrote their scripts for the heartbreaking dialogue, which even caused netizens to connect it to their real-life story.
The priest in MV revealed that everything that happened was natural and was indeed a closure for the ex-couple.

Julia and Joshua’s love team is one of the well-loved in this generation. Since 2016, they have starred together in five movies and 2 TV series. However, in 2019, the JoshLia fans’ hearts broke when the two confirmed their break up and back to being best friends.
Their break up was one of the most talked-about because Julia was also linked to her co-star in “Between Maybes” at that time, Gerald Anderson.
Until now, the rumored relationship of Julia and Gerald is not confirmed despite pieces of evidence noticed by netizens.
