On her Twitter account, singer Jona recounted her journey to get to her first-ever digital concert via YouTube Music Night, Love Jona.
First, Jona’s tweet documented her experiences during 2020. She recalled planning a concert marking her 15th anniversary in showbiz before the pandemic hit.
Jona then continued on writing that she received offers to do online concerts that didn’t push through. She also recounted tough and rough moments in life that she had to go through amidst the pandemic.
Because of this, Jona refocused her life on building an animal shelter. However, as luck and God would have it, an offer came for her recently successful digital concert Love Jonah via YouTube Music Night, this February 6, 2021.
She highlights that it was the first YouTube Music Night in the Philippines and South East Asia. Jona also highlighted the global reach her digital concert had as its available in different countries. She then noted that it was beyond what she imagined compared to her original plan in 2020.
Finally, Jona thanked those who made the concert possible such as heads of ABS-CBN and fans who continue to watch Love Jona on replay.
