Marissa (Jodi Sta. Maria) found herself on the brink of death after her car exploded as enemies tried to seal her tragic fate this Monday (February 1) in “Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin.”
The person who brought her life to danger is none other than the one with whom she entrusted her safety—her bodyguard Avel (Joseph Marco). The truth behind his character finally unraveled as viewers saw Ceasar (Simon Ibarra) plotting Marissa’s death with him.
Avel wanted to turn his back on the job because he has become fond of Marissa but he also feared that if he walked away, his own plan to find his parents’ killers would be foiled.
But at the last minute, Avel chose to follow his heart and quickly brought Marissa to safety, while fleeing the scene of the crime.
Ceasar and Belen’s (Rita Avila) celebration would be short-lived as they will soon find out that Marissa had survived. Enraged by Avel’s betrayal, Caesar swore he would personally kill the former when he is found.
Will Ceasar be able to eliminate Avel? How will Marissa rise once more from another tragedy?
