Kapamilya actress Jane De Leon reveals her back-up projects and her plans of exploring the international scene in case ‘Darna’ did not come.
At the online mediacon for FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano last Friday (January 5), Jane was asked about her endeavors if ever the ‘Darna’ role was not given to her.
The actress then revealed that there were back-up projects aligned for her. She was also planning to explore the international stage.
Before flying this 2021, Jane and the production team of ‘Darna’ faced a lot of delays.
The ‘Darna’ movie was deferred considering the impact of COVID-19 on cinemas and the movie industry. Delays were also brought upon by the non-renewal of the ABS-CBN franchise.
However, the actress said that she did not lose hope for the project.
Her bosses were shocked by her positive reaction despite the bad news.
Fortunately, during the Star Magic contract signing last December, ABS-CBN chief operating officer Cory Vidanes announced that ‘Darna‘ will finally push through this 2021 as a TV series, and Jane will still play the lead role.
Meanwhile, Jane will also join one of the longest-running TV series “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano”. She will play Pol. Cap. Natalia Mante.
