‘Bagong Umaga’ star Heaven Peralejo revealed something about his co-star Tony Labrusca’s unusual habit in the set. Heaven mentioned that Tony would do this habit every morning.
In an exclusive interview with Heaven Peralejo and Tony Labrusca by RAWR Nation that premiered on February 14, the artists talked about their experiences in the set of ‘Bagong Umaga’ now that they are required to film in a lock-in setting.
When they were asked about the best thing they did during their lock-in taping in terms of their relationship with the cast members, Tony shared that the lock-in helped him to be brave and appreciate the little things in life.
“Sa akin po, it helped me look in words. Siguro parang lahat ng demons ko, lahat ng problema ko na hindi ko pa naso-solve, wala akong choice kung ‘di harapin talaga,”
“Ang dami ko palang mga bubog sa buhay na hindi ko inaakala,” he said.
“It thought me to, it’s still teaching me as of this moment, be grateful, enjoy the moment, be happy about the small things that matter,”
“It’s teaching me that family comes first, God always comes first,” he added.
Tony shared that the lock-in taping helped him get a closer look at his life as the cast members are stuck in their small world in the set.
“Parang tumahimik ‘yung buhay namin, in a sense, lumiit ‘yung buhay and it’s teaching me a lot about gratitude, my core values, and what really matters to me at the end of the day,” he said.
Meanwhile, Heaven revealed that the actor has a weird habit in their ‘Bagong Umaga’ set.
She said that Tony would always say a morning phrase to cheer everyone in the set.
“Si Tony, fun fact, everyday sa morning sabihin niya na ‘It’s a day to be grateful'” said Heaven.
“Na-witness naming lahat ‘yun. Pero ‘yun iyong nagpapa-good vibes sa aming lahat. At nakakaremind sa aming lahat na ‘oo nga naman,'” she added.
