Beginning Monday (February 8), a medical drama filled with lessons about romance, friendship, and making choices to uphold one’s profession and principles unfolds on GMA Network via the multi-awarded Korean series ‘The Romantic Doctor 2.’
The heart-warming story continues after the events from the first season. A top surgeon named Dr. Daniel Boo (Han Suk-kyu), also known as Master Kim, decides to recruit new surgeons from Geosan University Hospital in Seoul to solve the manpower shortage in Doldam Hospital.
He finds Dr. Wesley Seo (Ahn Hyo-seop), a doctor with a troubled past who is ostracized by his fellow doctors, and offers him the job. He also meets cardiac surgeon Dr. Emily Cha (Lee Sung-kyung) who is suspended after running out of the operation room and has no other choice but to follow the two doctors to Doldam Hospital in Gangwon Province.
