As part of the new members of the Third Generation of MNL 48—Klaryle Mercado, Allyza Mae Roxas, Kathleen Apduhan, Bhrianna Chua, and Jana Ross Angeles expressed their expectations in joining the all-girl group.
At the media conference of MNL 48 for their upcoming online concert in ABS CBN’s KTV, the fresh new members were able to share what they look forward to as the newest members of the said group.
Apduhan shared what excites her is the performances that she will be having. She hopes to perform internationally.
“Ni lo-look forward ko po yung performances po or mga videos lang po okay na po sa akin yun nag eexpect pa po ako ng mas higher po doon like international shows po.”
She also shared that she quit her studies to train for almost a year by joining other cover groups and dance shows to enhance her skills in dancing.
Mercado, on the other hand, who also sacrificed her studies looks forward to her growth in the P-pop Girl group, “I’m looking forward po to grow here in MNL 48 and getting along with my senpais to perform project ng MNL 48.”
Future training is what new member Angeles is thrilled about, she also mentioned that she can’t wait to meet her senpais.
“Looking forward po ako sa trainings and ma meet po ung mga senpais namin para po mabigyan kame ng advices as well.”
Now that she achieved her dream as an MNL 48 member–she wants to inspire others to realize that everything that one could dream of is possible.
“Maka inspire po kame ng mga people na its never too late to reach your dream kahit ano pa pong mangyari, you can do anything kahit ano pa pong gusto niyong gawin.”
Idols Chua and Roxas shared that what keep them going are their ever-supportive parents.
Allyzza shared that since day one her parents and family were always behind her back to support her in her dream in becoming part of MNL 48 P-pop group.
“Super saya po nila yung family ko po kase super supportive po talaga sila, family ko po kase lagi po silang andyan to support lalo na po kapag may audition hatid sundo po ako kapag may pila po sa audition ibibili po nila ako ng food lagi po kame kompleto every my auditions po kame.”
Due to the moral support, she can’t help but be excited about being a new member of MNL 48.
“Yung performance po with my senpais and co members super excited din po ako sa mga trainings namin dun po talaga mag sisimula lahat yung bonding dun po mas nagging strong yung group and I know na if nag start na yung training na min mas madadagadagan pa yung mga kaya namin gawin.”
Lastly, Chua looks forward to the struggles and experiences that she will be experiencing in her journey with MNL 48.
“I am looking forward to the experience that I will have here in MNL 48 and I know kase po na dati the group really struggled at the very beginning and I think being a member now is such an advantage and is such an honor.
“So being a member is gonna be a struggle for me but Im sure that I will be appreciated for who I am and Im really looking forward for my journey here.”
She also thanked her parents and shared how they are proud of her.
“My parents really feel proud of me because my dad always tells me that if I wanna pursue a specific dream in my life I have to really work for it and that what I learned from them. Nothing in life comes easy it deserves determination and sacrifice, they’re really proud of me.”
