MANILA, PHILIPPINES – How hard is it to choose the right insurance? To apply for a credit card or a personal loan? It can be difficult and confusing, with so many products to choose from. Getting the right product can be a pain, and failing to compare options can lead to making wrong financial decisions.
Moneymax, an online comparison platform for financial products, strives to address such common consumer pain points. Established in 2014, Moneymax is one of the leading financial technology companies in the Philippines, providing Filipinos with a free platform to compare car insurance, credit cards, and loans. Apart from this, Moneymax aims to help Filipinos lead healthier financial lives through their personal finance blog and social media communities.
Pearl Gonzales, Moneymax Co-Head of Comparison Business, shares: “Given the community quarantine restrictions, customers rely on our help in fulfilling their financial needs in the comfort of their home. Moneymax makes it easy for them to compare, apply for, and secure a financial product online.”
Convenient Services, Competitive Rates for Car Insurance
Apart from being a free-to-use comparison platform, Moneymax is a licensed insurance broker offering end-to-end car insurance services. The whole car insurance process—from choosing a policy to filing a claim—can be done on the Moneymax website. Clients don’t need to pay a single centavo to compare and choose the right car insurance policy.
Additionally, Moneymax offers some of the most competitive car insurance rates in the market, making it cheaper and easier to insure a vehicle.
To provide more insurance options, Moneymax recently partnered with two of the biggest non-life insurance companies in the Philippines: Malayan and Prudential Guarantee. As the company enters a better and stronger year, more insurance partners will soon be onboarded on the Moneymax website.
Easier Access to Credit Card and Loan Products
As we slowly transition to cashless transactions, Moneymax acknowledges the need of every Filipino to have their own credit card. Together with Citibank, the fintech company gave away GrabPay Credits, GCash, and Apple AirPods to successful credit card applicants. The three promos, which ran from August to December last year, helped
more than 415 Filipinos get a Citi credit card that suits their lifestyles and needs. This was Moneymax’s first sponsored partnership with Citibank. Currently, Moneymax is giving away Apple AirPods to approved Citi credit card clients. The promo will run until February 26, 2021.
The company also recently launched a loans page www.moneymax.ph/loans where users can apply for three loan types, each catering to specific eligibility and need: personal loan for long-term borrowing, instant cash loan for emergency needs, and housing loans. The page will help users instantly compare and apply for a loan product without having to browse multiple websites and fill out several forms.
A Stronger Year Ahead
2020 was truly a challenging year for businesses. Despite facing hurdles brought about by the pandemic, Moneymax has powered through, seeing it as an opportunity to rise above the competition. As the country slowly shifts to digital, Moneymax will continue to improve its online financial services, helping Filipinos lead healthier financial lives.
