Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) has been more than a venue for exciting activities and brave challenges over the years by giving the followers joy and laughter.
The show is [also] considered a spot that makes its viewers experience the butterflies of first love because the audience gets to see some of the housemates develop into love teams.
Like in all other seasons, many supporters have ‘shipped’ several housemates and named various love teams every season.
In the latest PBB season of Pinoy Big Brother: Connect, many have observed the special closeness that ex-housemates Haira Palaguitto and Kyron Aguilera had.
The Makatang Marikit ng Pangasinan and the Shy Biker Boy ng Butuan were ship by fans as HaiRon.
In an exclusive interview with RAWR Nation, Palaguitto shared her thoughts of having a loveteam like Aguilera.
According to her, it was inevitable to have loveteams inside the house since it’s common practice even in the earlier seasons of PBB.
The 16-year-old Palaguitto said that she and her fellow housemate Aguilera are a loveteam to the show’s fans or the public, but for them–it’s not. The two consider themselves as best of friends.
Ayun po ‘yung mas iniisip namin,” said Palaguitto.
She was also overwhelmed by how fans supported them and named their tandem as HaiRon, which coincidentally, the same name as his elder brother.
In the same interview, she shared that Aguilera helped her go out of her comfort zone and encouraged her to interact more with other housemates as they were the only people inside.
Talagang nasa isang gilid lang po ako,” the ex-housemate said.
She believed that being around Aguilera most of the time–is one of the many reasons that made her feel other housemates disconnected from her.
Being emotional and sensitive as a person is another reason that led housemates to nominate her often.
After being nominated twice, Haira Palaguitto became the season’s fifth evictee. Aizyl Tandugon and Kyron Aguilera followed her as the sixth and seventh evictees.
Meanwhile, Palaguitto was reportedly in another loveteam ship with an aspiring housemate from Cavite, Sean Tristan, who expressed admiration for the ex-housemate. HaiSean was their team-up ship name.
