Queen of All Media Kris Aquino recently took part in a “Jojowain o Totropahin” challenge in her Facebook vlog where she chose who among the given names of celebrities and politicians would she consider as someone who she can be in a relationship with or someone whom she can only consider as a friend.
In a Facebook vlog that Kris posted on Wednesday, February 3, she shared her thoughts on several TV personalities with her youngest son, Bimby.
Two political figures were mentioned in the “Jojowain o Totropahin” challenge namely former senator Antonio Trillanes and Senator Bong Go.
Kris answered “Totropahin” to Trillanes as she explained that she didn’t want to visit the prison.
“Totropahin, kasi ayoko nang dumalaw sa kulungan. That was my life as a child,” she said.
Trillanes was previously detained for over seven years for leading the Oakwood Mutiny in 2003. He is known for being a fierce critic of the Duterte administration.
Kris Aquino’s father, Benigno Simeon “Ninoy” Aquino Jr., was imprisoned from 1972 until 1980 during the Marcos dictatorship. After the Aquino patriarch self-exiled in the US, he returned to the Philippines in 1983 only to be assassinated.
Kris mentioned that she didn’t want to have that experience once again saying, “At this point ba in my life, I want to repeat that experience? No more. Pinagdaanan ko na ‘yun. One assassination in the family is enough. Honesty lang, ‘diba.”
“We have to be practical lang naman, kasi nga I have two kids,” she added.
Meanwhile, when Senator Bong Go’s name was mentioned, Kris answered “Jojowain” as she explained that the senator had clear skin.
She also mentioned that the senator does not seem boastful that’s why she likes him.
“Makinis siya. I know this is mababaw, pero ayoko talaga ng ma-pimples,” she said.
“Ang dating niya, hindi siya mayabang, so gusto ko siya. Mawi-weirduhan lahat ng tao, ‘Gusto mo siya, really?’ Yeah, I like him,” she added.
However, Kris took note of the political rivalry between Trillanes and Go with their support in the Duterte administration that’s why she changed her answer to Trillanes for the sake of being fair.
“Para huwag magalit sa akin, I take it back. Para fair, patas. Trillanes? Sige, jojowain na rin. I’ll just be fair. Maganda rin kasi kutis, e,” said Kris.
She stated that she can consider a relationship with anyone who has clear skin saying, “See, kayang jowain all colors of the rainbow! Basta, ang importante, makinis.”
Kris Aquino previously expressed her gratitude to President Duterte for noting that her father, former Sen. Ninoy Aquino Jr., was killed “in the hands of Mr. Marcos,” referring to then-President Ferdinand Marcos.
The mastermind behind the assassination of Ninoy on Aug. 21, 1983, has not been pinpointed but there were speculations that Ferdinand Marcos was the brains behind the assassination.
“Thank you for acknowledging our family’s loss, and who was behind it. Salamat, Mr. President,” Kris wrote in an Instagram post.
