When Kylie Padilla posted a cryptic message on her IG story saying, “I’m submissive not stupid” with an addition to a now-deleted Instagram post where she was wearing a red dress with a caption, “free”, netizens and supporters were concerned about their relationship with her husband Aljur Abrenica.
In a series of deleted Instagram posts where netizens did not miss, Kylie posted her hand without her wedding ring. This resulted in speculations that she and Aljur got into a heavy fight.
Solidifying such theory was her IG story yesterday where she wrote, “More self-love, baby girl.”
She also reposted another message on her IG story. The re-post says: “The capacity to be alone is the capacity to love. It may look paradoxical to you, but it’s not. It is an existential truth: only those people who are capable of being alone are capable of love, of sharing, of going into the deepest core of another person, without possessing the other, without becoming dependent on the other, without reducing the other to a thing, and without becoming addicted to the other. They allow the other absolute freedom, because they know that if the other leaves, they will be as happy as they are now. Their happiness can’t be taken by the other, because it is not given by the other.—Osho.”
Adding to this is another IG story from her which says, “Yeah sex is nice but when you haven’t been held in months, sex isn’t what you miss the most.”
The series of cryptic posts from Kylie led netizens to think that they indeed are not in good terms.
Building up such theory is when Aljur posted five days ago, a photo of him holding the rosary. In one of the comments, a netizen wrote that it’s normal for a married couple to fight. But what’s important is to not focus on their pride, and just pray and admit their mistakes. That humility is important for a relationship in jeopardy, to be saved. The netizen advised the actor to not publicize their arguments on social media. And with a final lesson, the netizen stressed that whatever fight a married couple may encounter, it can always be fixed. Just trust in God.
“Natural ‘yan sa mag asawa magdasal at pagnilayin ang pagkakamali niyong dalawa may isang magpakumbaba para maisalba ang relasyon alang-alang sa mga bata. Social media is not good. It’s so [stressful so] be calm [in] every decision. Ang kasal ay sagrado sa dalawang nagmamahalan kahit ano pang problema ‘yan, malulutas if magtutulungan. God is so good,” the netizen wrote.
So with the cryptic messages from Kylie, and the comment from a netizen about arguments of a married couple, does this mean that the celebrity couple had a large fight that would eventually risk their marriage and the family they built?
Kylie and Aljur became a couple in 2011. However, as if fate does not like the idea of them being together at that time, in 2014, the two broke up.
In September of 2016, Aljur announced that he and Kylie got back together. And the following year, January 2017, news broke out that the two were engaged. This came amidst the rumors that Kylie was three months pregnant with Aljur’s child.
And on December 11, 2018, Aljur and Kylie finally tied the knot. After three years of being married to Aljur, they now have two children, Alas Joaquin and Axl Romeo.
