Kapuso actress Bianca Umali gave her reaction to her ‘epic-serye princess’ tag.
It can be recalled that the 20-year-old actress was the lead star in the Kapuso cultural drama series Sahaya (2019) which highlighted the culture of the Badjao.
She is set to star in another Kapuso cultural drama series called Legal Wives that’s why the young actress was given the tag ‘epic-serye princess.’
In an episode of Kapuso ArtisTambayan that premiered on YouTube on February 11, Bianca gave her reaction to her said tag with co-stars Ashley Ortega and Adbul Raman along with the host and newly-signed Kapuso Coleen Paz.
The young actress mentioned that she is grateful for her fans and her home network GMA for their trust in her. She said that she had a lot of fun portraying different kinds of roles which makes her excited for her future projects.
“I would like to thank everyone, and of course my network GMA, sa tiwala po. Maraming salamat sa suporta. Honestly, hindi ko inakala na I would be in these roles,”
“Hindi lang ito na mga epic serye and cultural series, I had a lot of fun doing kasi kakaiba ‘yung mga istorya, kakaiba ‘yung mga role. Nakaka excite gawin everytime kaya thank you, salamat po,” Umali said.
Meanwhile, Umali also talked about her character for her upcoming series Legal Wives. The said series will also star Kapuso Drama King Dennis Trillo, Alice Dixson, Andrea Torres, and Cherie Gil.
“Ako po dito si Farrah Balindong and I will be playing the third and youngest wife of the one and only Mr. Dennis Trillo. I don’t want to go into too much detail kasi baka ma-spoil, pero I hope that everyone watches our show kasi it is very intriguing,” she said.
Legal Wives tells the story of a unique family where a Maranaw man marries three different women for various reasons. The series will be directed by Zig Dulay.
Some of the other cast members of the upcoming series include Shayne Sava, Bernard Palanca, Kevin Santos, Maricar de Mesa, Juan Rodrigo, and Irma Adlawan.
