Former Kapamilya broadcaster and now out and proud DDS Anthony Taberna blasted opposition personalities particularly Senator Kiko Pangilinan.
In a video shared by Showbiz Fanaticz on YouTube, Taberna slammed Pangilinan while praising the Duterte administration’s alleged infrastructure projects.
At the start of the video, Taberna while traveling on EDSA was all praises for Duterte for the opening of the new SkyWay which according to him is a project of the Duterte administration. (It was in fact a project initiated under the Aquino administration.)
“Eto ay bunga ng mga infrastructure projects na ginawa po ngayong panahon na to eh ng Duterte administration,” he said
He then went to slamming Duterte’s critics particularly opposition figure Sen. Kiko Pangilinan.
“Alam ko marami tayong mga kababayan na busy sa Twitter, social media, busing busy sa pagbanat ngayon sa administrasyon dahil dun sa abrogation ng UP-DND accord,” Taberna said.
“Alam ko yan galit kayo sa administrasyon tungkol dun lalo na yung mga taga UP community, yung mga pulitiko halimbawa si Vice President Leni Robredo, Kiko Pangilinan, naku sino ba yung Kiko Pangilinan bat nasabi ko pa yun, walang kakwenta kwenta yun,” he added.
He even compared the Senator to latter’s wife, megastar Sharon Cuneta.
“Buti pa si ate Sharon ok saken eh pero yun nakow walang kwenta yun Kiko Pangilinan pwee. Susmaryosep kinikilabutan ako. Ewan ko ba bat nawalan ako ng kwan sa tao na yun, nawalan ako ng amor. Ewan ko ba,” Taberna continued.
The Skyway 3 project is a PPP project by the Aquino administration. The project started in 2014 and was completed in 2020 during the administration of Duterte.
Meanwhile, Taberna previously denied being DDS or Diehard Duterte Supporter.
During an interview for their transfer to DZRH following their exit from DZMM, Taberna said it is unfair for them to be called DDS.
“Hindi kami DDS ni Gerry (Baja), unfair namang akusasyon yun!” he said.
Taberna added while they lauded good projects of the administration, they also criticized those that need to be criticized.
“We recognize yung mga nagagawa nila, pero kung napapanood lang ng mga tao kung paano namin upakan ang gobyernong ito sa kanilang kapalpakan, hindi nila iisipin iyan,” he added.
