The truth behind the real identities of Tisay (Heaven Peralejo) and Cai (Barbie Imperial) finally unraveled last week in “Bagong Umaga” as Ian (Cris Villanueva) confirmed that the former is his real daughter while Cai is Jose (Keempee de Leon at Monica’s (Nikki Valdez) real child.
Ian began having suspicions as Hilda (Rio Locsin) told him that Diana (Glydel Mercado) switched their children. But it was the positive result of a paternity test that convinced him.
It didn’t take long before Tisay learned the truth as she confronted Diana about her own suspicion. While Diana did not directly admit it, she asked Tisay if she could turn her back on the family she grew up in and embrace being a Veradona.
As the truth finally took hold of her, Tisay suggested she would ask Cai for help since it was the only way to help Monica get treatment.
Will Cai soon find out the truth? How will she accept it
Meanwhile netizens could not contain themselves as the events unfolded, and posted their praises for the show on social media.
“Sobrang honest. @hperalejo @nikkivaldez_ @YourYvesFlores,” said ni@PhilJieASH.
Sana All ganyan ang pamilya meron ang bawat tao,” according to @borromeo0601
Many were impressed by Heaven’s performance. “Heaven Peralejo, a newbie, can act like this? I am thrilled to see what else she can do! She can do justice to every scene and probably to every role she would get!#BUBiologicalDaughter,” said @itsmeTetP.
