Malacañang Spokesman Harry Roque indirectly swiped at Kapamilya comedian-host Vice Ganda over issues on the COVID-19 vaccine.
In a statement on Monday, January 18, Roque chided Vice Ganda saying people should believe medical experts more than comedians.
While Roque did not mention any name, his latest comment is a response to Vice Ganda’s recent tweet about the government’s COVID-19 vaccine program.
Vice Ganda’s tweet highlighted that Filipino’s are ‘choosy’ toward laundry or detergent soaps; all the more people should be discerning when it comes to getting a COVID-19 vaccine shot.
Ano to basta may maisaksak lang?! Vaklang twoooaahhh!!!” Vice tweeted.

Due to millions of Filipinos to be vaccinated for free, Roque previously asked the public not to be ‘choosy’ on what brand of vaccine they should be getting from the government.
Netizens have heavily criticized the government’s vaccination program after insisting on China’s Sinovac vaccine. The China vaccine has the least efficacy rate and higher prize than other vaccines from Pfizer and AstraZeneca.
Meanwhile, Roque argued that it is wrong to compare vaccines from detergent soap since they differ in the number of supplies.
