Following the announcement of ABS-CBN and TV5’s partnership which brought ASAP Natin To and FPJ Da King to the Kapatid Network, several netizens have started to speculate what’s or who’s next.
In a tweet, netizen @PJHiz said is it very likely that It’s Showtime is just waiting for their turn to be aired on TV5.
The netizen also mentioned that it’s also possible that other Kapamilya programs will also follow suit like Magandang Buhay, Bagong Umaga, and primetime bida teleseryes FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin, Walang Hanggang Paalam, and Pinoy Big Brother which all currently air on A2Z Channel 11.
“Naghihintay lang ang It’s Showtime na palitan nila ang LOL perhaps until March tapos sunod na yung ibang shows like Magandang Buhay, Bagong Umaga, at sa Primetime: Ang Probinsyano, ASIAA , WHP at PBB. Replays na mga APT Shows sa TV 5 sa gabi. Malaking malapit na sa gabi rin.”

Aside from @PJHiz, netizen @AltA2ZChannel11 also shared the same prediction in an earlier tweet.
According to the netizen, it is highly possible that It’s Showtime will also be seen on TV5 if ever the current TV5 noontime show Lunch Our Loud by Brighlight Productions didn’t improve in ratings.
Aside from that Banana Sundae might also come back and be shown on TV5 throughs Brighlight after the cancellation of Sunday Kada.
And the biggest scenario is when Kapamilya network’s Primetime Bida slot will also get a slot on TV5 if APT Entertainment cancel their primetime game shows.
“Possible scenarios? – ABS-CBN might pick up Sunday ‘Kada cast to bring back Banana Sundae. – If LOL will not improve its ratings, It’s Showtime will also be shown on TV5 – If APT will cancel their evening game shows (8PM timeslot), FPJAP might follow too.”

Meanwhile, no less than Vice Ganda announced ABS-CBN’s latest partnership with the Kapatid Network.
If this is a prelude to what is going to happen next then we’ll just have to wait and see.
Current Lunch Out Loud (LOL) hosts and production staff were previous It’s Showtime people like Billy Crawford and its director Bobet Vidanes.
That’s why the coming days will be more interesting for both ABS-CBN and TV5.
On Thursday, January 21, ABS-CBN and TV5 announced their latest partnership which aimed at bringing Kapamilya shows to a wider audience.
In a statement TV5 and Cignal CEO and President Robert Galangsaid the blocktime deal “marks the start of greater cooperation among our various industry players and begins a new era of partnership.”
Galang also said that TV5 warmly welcomes ASAP Natin To and FPJ Da King movies adding it will “usher in a new viewing experience for fans and subscribers alike.”
“We are pleased to welcome the ASAP family and the films of the one and only king of Philippine movies to Cignal and TV5. The top-rated content, combined with Cignal and TV5’s strengths in technology, direct-to-consumer distribution, and mobile and broadband reach, will usher in a new viewing experience for fans and subscribers alike,” said Galang.
“The future of entertainment media is rapidly converging around a dynamic mix of traditional and digital platforms, with Cignal and TV5 launching new content and synergies that will disrupt conventional broadcast methods. We are committed to continuously explore more initiatives to provide the best of both worlds to all our stakeholders,” he added.
ASB-CBN has been shut down since May 2020 following the expiration of their franchise and the subsequent rejection of its franchise application by the 70 Cayetano-led congressmen.
While the Kapamilya network has been lording the digital platforms with its Kapamilya Online Live channel on YouTube and Facebook, ASB-CBN shows have made a free-TV comeback via ABS-CBN’s block time deal with ZOE Broadcasting that gave birth to the A2Z Channel 11.
And now with its entry to TV5, expect ASB-CBN shows to lord free TV again.
