Kapuso star Sanya Lopez praised Kapamilya star Daniel Padilla for his attitude toward his fans. Lopez admired how Daniel remains humble even with his stature as a star.
On November 14, Sanya became a guest in the YouTube online show of Allan Diones’s 2NYTwithAllanD. In a recent video clip of Sanya’s guesting in the said online show, which was shared by Diones, the Kapuso star explained her admiration toward Daniel’s personality.
When Sanya was asked whether she would consider Daniel as a boyfriend or a friend in a game called, Jojowain o Totropahin, the female star said that she would consider Daniel as a boyfriend.
“Si Daniel pang-jowa siya. Pang jowa talaga siya,” she said.
She explained that she saw how the actor takes care of Kathryn Bernardo, who is Daniel’s long-time girlfriend.
“Grabe ‘yung sweetness niya kay Kath. Parang ‘pag naging girlfriend ka niya, aalagaan ka niya nang sobrang-sobra,” said Sanya.
The 24-year-old Kapuso star talked about a story on how she saw Daniel’s personality toward his fans in a mall. She said that Daniel was very humble and kind which made her admire him even more.
She recalled how she saw Padilla alone in a mall. At the time, the actor was already quite famous that’s why there were people who recognized him despite covering himself.
“Nakita ko ‘yan si Daniel one time sa isang mall. Grabe siya sa mga tao talaga. ‘Dun ko nakita na sabi ko “ah kaya si Daniel Padilla.” It’s because, kung paano siya makitungo sa mga talagang sumusuporta sa kanya,” said Sanya.
“May isang matangkad na guy na naglalakad. Ang lakas talaga ng dating niya. Tiningnan ko kung sino ‘yun, naka-cap lang siya parang galing siya sa sinehan. Parang nanood siya ng pelikula nila ni Kathryn,” she added.
She went on saying that more people were starting to gather around Daniel and the mall’s guards approached him to settle the people down.
However, Sanya said that Daniel mentioned that it was fine with him that people were gathering around him. She said that the actor was kind enough to take pictures with his fans.
The actress noted Daniel’s kindness toward his fans made her understand why people idolize the young actor.
“Etong taong ‘to, kaya to Daniel Padilla kase ganito kabait. Ganito ka-humble. Walang ka ere-ere. ‘Yun ‘yung nagugustuhan ko sa isang artista.
“Sana all, ganun ‘yung personality,” she added.
Sanya Lopez is known for her character in the Kapuso afternoon series, The Half Sisters (2014), as Lorna. Her career in showbiz started in 2012, when she was accidentally discovered by the late German Moreno on the set of Walang Tulugan with the Master Showman. Lopez’s brother, Jak Roberto was a mainstay in the late-night show back then.
She was a part of several Kapuso series such as The Millionaire’s Wife (2016), Encantadia (2016-17), and Dahil sa Pag-Ibig (2019). She is currently set to star in the upcoming drama romance series, First Yaya.
