Rising RnB star R.L. King returns with his latest dark and funky release “Temptation”. With the track having dropped in November it has already gained 25,000+ streams, while the high-quality video accompanying it is released 18th December.
King, and feature artist RINI, have created a slow and sexy number that draws the listener in with bass and glistening electric piano. The catchy and beautiful vocals have an almost trance-like effect on the listener, verse and chorus flowing into one another seamlessly and never repetitively. The lyrics are sensuous and fine picked, and match the faultless falsetto.
“‘Temptation’ is a song about human nature and the feeling/action of giving in to earthly desires,” R.L. King explains eloquently, as this idea is heard not only in the lyrics but also the instrumental too.
A part of the Melbourne RnB scene, King is a soulful and mysterious star on the rise. Having already released successful tunes such as Drxgs, as well as an album, Love, Bermuda, “Temptation” is part of his recent EP Worldstar.
Combined with the track is the stylish and slick video courtesy of Chris Xandrei of GnomeBoys Productions. And with the high-production of both audio and visual, “Temptation”, and R.L. King himself, is set for continued success.
