Talent manager Ogie Diaz admitted that he has a list of talents who may not be able to make any comeback to ABS-CBN anymore.
Loyalty is rare. When ABS-CBN lost its battle for a franchise renewal, the workers’ and artists’ loyalty got tested. Some have stayed while some chose to move to other Networks. Others asked for permission, but some did not.
Recently, Senate President Vicente Sotto III filed a bill for the franchise renewal of ABS-CBN. The move was backed-up by Cong. Vilma Santos-Recto and filed a new Bill in Congress.
Hopes are up for the Network’s potential return, but questions surfaced if those artists who have left can still comeback to ABS-CBN.
With this, Ogie Diaz was asked on his YouTube vlog whether ex-Kapamilya artists have a chance to return to ABS-CBN.
He said that ABS-CBN will not close doors for returning artists, especially when they are still in the limelight.
Kung may asim ka pa, tatanggapin parin kita,” he said.
Unfortunately, to those who countered the Network, they have less to no chance of being admitted, ever again. Diaz likewise believes that it is useless to work with talents who have bad intentions with the Network.
Diaz revealed that he holds a list of artists and production staff who cannot return to ABS-CBN anymore.
Accordingly, the Network understands that their talents need bread and butter to sustain their family, but they should’ve at least asked for permission.
He then dropped hints about those talents tagged by ABS-CBN: First of all, those artists who just transferred to another Network with permission; likewise, those artists who remained quiet during the Congress hearing and franchise issue. There’s an artist, who made fiery comments against the Network, and an artist who sides with the Lower House.
Along with their conversation, he quipped about Fifth District of Quezon City Representative Alfred Vargas, a former Kapamilya artist who abstained from the votation in July 2020.
Given the hints, can you guess who these artists are?
